Our hearts are filled with sorrow as we share the news that Charles W. Scott, who resided in Albany, New York, passed away on December 23, 2023. He was 98 years old. Parents Thomas Scott and Anna Tracey Scott, his wife Patricia White Scott, and his sisters Margaret Champine and Mary Whitney all passed away before him. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
His children, Charles “Danny” Scott of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Marcella “Marcy” Ballard (Richard) of Cohoes, as well as his grandkids, Jade Hall (Shelton) of Clifton Park, Charles D. Scott, Jr. of Virginia, Olivia, and Gabby, are among those who are able to carry on his legacy. A number of nieces and nephews are also among those who survive him.
The Fitzgerald Funeral Home, located at 105 Vliet Blvd, Cohoes, New York 12047, will be the location of the visitation that will take place on Thursday, December 28th, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. At the same venue, a funeral service is scheduled to take place on Thursday, December 28th, 2023 at ten o’clock in the morning.
